Since the Davi appeared on Earth we have been attempting to understand them. Their technology is obviously in advance of our own. But their intentions towards us are not obvious. Are they friendly? We don’t really know…
The Davi will only engage us by playing this game. We believe it is a strategy game. we believe they use the game to study us. We believe that not playing indicates surrender. We don’t know what the stakes are. We suspect they are high.
The Davian Bead Game is our only mechanism for exploring the mind or minds of the Davi. We believe it is in our interest that many different people play, that the combined insights of the many may lead us to some understanding of the Davi and their intentions.
