Now Coming to the Ingenuity Art + Technology Festival
A collaborative mash-up between George Büchner's drama of a struggling solider who murders his mistress, and Alfred Jarry's wacky tale of a crass king who flushes the opposition down the toilet. Audiences can watch the performance of Woyzeck awash in his digital hallucinations, or they can travel to the other side of the digital divide and play in the making of a a real-time Real Dream Cabaret nightmare.
Created in collaboration with the award-winning theatre group The Real Dream Cabaret, Woy/Ubu will perform at the Ingenuity Tech Center (Halle Building) Friday & Saturday nights July 10-11 @ 7.30 and Saturday & Sunday, July 11-12 @3pm.
