The 2013 Global Game Jam is coming, and this year UB will be a host site! The GGJ is an annual, world-wide, 48-hour game development challenge. Creators of all skills, levels and disciplines are invited to participate.
Where: UB North Campus, Center for the Arts (CFA), Room 242 (map)
When: 5 PM, January 25 – 5 PM, January 27
Who: Open to anyone age 18+
Cost: Free

Things to Know
- Tools available onsite include:
- Windows PCs and Macs
- Wifi
- Kinect
- Unity3d
- Maya
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Pygame
- RenPy
- You can bring your own laptop to work on, or use our equipment
- All GGJ games are to be based around a special theme which will be announced at the start of the jam
- Teams will be formed at the Jam – you do not need to come with a team
- All games for the GGJ remain the property of their creators, but must be submitted under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license
- Board game designs are also welcome
- Parking is open to all after 3pm Friday, and all day Saturday & Sunday
- Snacks & coffee will be provided; food can also be purchased at the Commons and the Student Union.
